{"id":46199,"date":"2021-02-22T10:30:49","date_gmt":"2021-02-22T17:30:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/ibo\/?p=46199"},"modified":"2026-08-25T20:06:49","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T02:06:49","slug":"adopt-a-plot-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/ibo\/2021\/02\/22\/adopt-a-plot-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Student poster shares success of Adopt-a-Plot volunteer program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IBO Habitat Restoration Intern and Boise State student, Aaron Connolly, presented his poster this week at the Idaho Chapter of the Wildlife Society&#8217;s virtual Annual Meeting.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46200\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46200\" style=\"width: 498px\" class=\"wp-image wp-image--caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-46200\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/ibo\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/141\/2021\/04\/adopt.png\" alt=\"infographic \" width=\"498\" height=\"406\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-46200\" class=\"wp-caption-text\" style=\"width: 498px\"><strong>37 families, couples, community groups and individuals<\/strong> volunteered their time. <strong>98% of our plots<\/strong> were maintained and cared for through the summer. Over <strong>3000 native seedlings<\/strong> were liberated from heavy weeds.
