Each program submits a Program Assessment Report (PAR) on a three-year cycle. Faculty and staff teams review and score the reports using a rubric, and each program receives individualized feedback.
The tables below present the three-year rolling averages for PAR ratings at each of the four achievement levels across the seven PAR domains. Boise State’s Strategic Plan incorporates several measures from PAR in our University metrics; those measures are indicated by an asterisk on the table below.
| PAR Review Summary | FY2021 | FY2022 | FY2023 | FY2024 | FY2025 |

Because the table depicts a three-year rolling average of PAR review data, all programs reporting are reflected in each year of data presented. For example, FY24 data reflects reports submitted in spring 2022, 2023, and 2024. It should be noted that, on average, 10-12% of programs are new in any given year, meaning that they may not have existed long enough to complete a continuous improvement cycle or to have collected sufficient data to take substantive action on assessment results.
