On Monday, April 20, students, faculty, and staff enjoyed the day’s sunny weather, walking on the Green Belt and promoting Exercise is Medicine® (EIM) On Campus.
This is the School of Kinesiology’s second annual walk, as the Spring 2026 semester draws near its end. Before attendees began their stroll, Kinesiology Divisional Dean, Dr. Lynda Ransdell, as well as Dean Powers and Provost Hansen of the College of Health Sciences, spoke on the matter and ideals behind EIM.
Exercise is Medicine® On Campus brings exercise, health and other disciplines together to celebrate the importance of physical activity relative to individual and campus health and well-being. The ultimate goal is to increase awareness about physical activity opportunities in the community and to use physical activity for chronic disease prevention and management.
