Master of Kinesiology
Students pursuing a Master of Kinesiology (MK) chose one of three areas of emphasis: behavioral, biophysical, and socio-historical. The degree is the non-thesis version of the Master of Science in Kinesiology (MS). The two programs are virtually identical with the following exceptions:
- The MK degree requires an additional 3 credits of electives (total of 12 elective credits) and a 2-credit Internship coupled with a 1- credit Project during the final semester.
- The MS degree requires 9 credits of electives and a 6-credit culminating activity (KINES 593 Thesis).
The application deadline is February 1. For more information, contact Shelley Lucas at 208-426-2446 or smlucas@boisestate.edu.
