Master of Science in Kinesiology

Students pursuing the Master of Science in Kinesiology may choose from three areas of emphasis: behavioral, biophysical, and socio-historical.

Students must complete 9 hours of core requirements in their chosen emphasis and 12 hours of elective credits. They must also complete a thesis.  To prepare for working on their thesis, student may take courses in research methods (3 hours) and statistics (3 hours).

Students who complete this degree pursue careers in a variety of fields including medical settings and private business, or they seek to continue their education at the doctoral level.
