3D Printed Lumbar Spine – Melinda Barry and Michelle Ehlke

“Michelle and I are both radiologic science majors currently finishing up our first year in the radiology program. For one of our classes, we were asked to create an anatomical model of a structure we are currently studying, and we chose the lumbar spine. We are so thankful that the Maker Lab (with the help of some lovely assistants) brought our vision to life! We fabricated a 3D lumbar spine demonstrating all pertinent anatomic structures from the spinous processes to the major arteries and veins. We are so grateful for the experience and such wonderful resources available to students at Boise State.” – Melinda Barry
