You are all welcome!
Welcome to the Albertsons Library MakerLab at Boise State University. The MakerLab is an interdisciplinary hub full of creative individuals who are using the space to improve our communities. Everyone is welcome. Individuals with ideas and passions start with no knowledge of many of these technologies and they grow their skills.
To learn to use the equipment and resources all you need to do is drop by during open hours. That’s it! Really! Then, once you’ve received safety training, you gain access to the resources and can book your time on the equipment you want to use. You can learn more about that on the How To Get Trained post.
We are located on the second floor of Albertsons Library in 201E. You can stop by Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm.
Contact us by email email@example.com or phone, (208) 426-1625, to make a special appointment or any other request, including having groups coming to the space.
The MakerLab is for use by Boise State students, staff, and faculty – everyone affiliated with Boise State is welcome to use the space. Users must follow all safety procedures. Failure to do so may result in revoked privileges. Users must follow all Boise State policies. Please be advised of the 3D Printer Policy on appropriate use.
