The Library's 3rd and 4th floors are inaccessible due to renovations during spring semester. Open study spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis on the 1st and 2nd floors.
Also, due to construction for the Capital Renewal Program, Albertsons Library will be temporarily closed during May 11 to June 6 and July 1 to July 22.

Albertsons Library announces the departure of Cheryl Oestreicher, professor and head of Special Collections and Archives, who is leaving after 13 years of service to Boise State University.
Oestreicher’s impact on Albertsons Library, and particularly within Special Collections and Archives, has been transformative. She embodied the library’s motto: “Connect. Create. Cultivate.”
During her tenure, Oestreicher was an advocate and dedicated mentor who forged numerous valuable partnerships on campus and in the community. Her efforts directly contributed to the collection’s growth, resulting in the acquisition of more than 100 local history collections. In recognition of her scholarship and leadership, Oestreicher was promoted to full professor in 2022. One of Oestreicher’s passions was university history.
Oestreicher’s dedication has left an indelible mark on Albertsons Library and Boise State University.
