Albertsons Library is excited to announce the launch of its 2025 book drive in support of Operation Wish Book, a crucial literacy mission working to put new books into the hands of children across the Treasure Valley. The goal this year is to collect 800 new books. Albertsons Library is off to an amazing start and has already received 132 donations for 2025.
Operation Wish Book, a non-profit founded over 30 years ago by retired Idaho teachers, aims to foster a love of reading in young people. Albertsons Library has been a dedicated supporter of this cause since 1994, contributing over 4,400 books to date.
Your donation can make a lasting impact. We welcome new, unwrapped, or very gently used paperback, hardback, or board books for children and young adults (ages 0 – 18).
Drop off location: First floor of Albertsons Library.
Donation Period: November 1 through December 5.
Thank you for your support in making Operation Wish Book 2025 a triumph.
