The session focuses on the book &#8220;The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America&#8221; by Richard Rothstein.<\/p>\n<p>The Mirrors and Windows conversation series invites the campus community to share and discuss books that have been personally meaningful as mirrors for self-reflection, or windows providing insight into the lives and experiences of others. Lisa Phillips, vice provost for community engagement and belonging, envisioned the series as part of her efforts to create opportunities at Boise State \u201cwhere all members feel comfortable in engaging in dialogues that demonstrate and strengthen our shared values.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Color of Law&#8221; investigates how government policies have created segregated housing patterns across the United States. This is an opportunity to learn and engage in a thoughtful discussion with other members of the Boise State community.
