Albertsons Library\u2019s Associate Dean, Michelle Armstrong, was among 20 top academic library administrators selected as Library Senior Fellows at UCLA for summer 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The UCLA Library Senior Fellowship is a three-week residential program that combines management perspectives, strategic thinking, and practical and theoretical approaches to the issues confronting academic libraries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Considered the longest-running leadership development program in the library profession, the fellowship not only provided timely, substantial training in leading libraries, it also allowed for the building of deep, professional relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the first participant selected from Boise State, Armstrong said she was excited to join such an accomplished cohort of library leaders.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an incredible honor to be selected for this fellowship. It is an incredible opportunity to develop relationships and build insights into how Albertsons Library can continue to be a driver for student success now and into the future. I am very grateful for the support I received from Dean Tod Colegrove, Provost John Buckwalter, and Boise State University to be able to participate in such a prestigious program.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Armstrong was joined by colleagues from Georgia State University, MIT, Vanderbilt University, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Oxford. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
