Award recipients demonstrate distinguished service, creative accomplishment and a record of publication, presentation, or research that enhances Boise\u2019s artistic, historic and broader cultural life. This year, Hervochon and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/news\/2025\/08\/04\/gene-harris-all-star-program-wins-city-of-boise-award\/\">Gene Harris All-Stars Jazz Program<\/a> are among the Boise State recipients.<br><br>Hervochon\u2019s contributions to Boise\u2019s creative and cultural communities span a decade, with her work focused on preserving and sharing local and regional history. She has organized and supported exhibitions that engaged thousands of participants with local history and content from world-renowned museums. Her projects include \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarworks.boisestate.edu\/first_folio\/\">First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare<\/a>,\u201d which was on tour from the Folger Shakespeare Library in 2016, and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/library\/americans-and-the-holocaust\/\">Americans and the Holocaust<\/a>\u201d from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2023.
