She embodied the library&#8217;s motto: &#8220;Connect. Create. Cultivate.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her tenure, Oestreicher was an advocate and dedicated mentor who forged numerous valuable partnerships on campus and in the community. Her efforts directly contributed to the collection&#8217;s growth, resulting in the acquisition of more than 100 local history collections. In recognition of her scholarship and leadership, Oestreicher was promoted to full professor in 2022.
