About
Jennifer began her career by teaching math at Kuna High School. She specialized in working with students who were below grade level and teaching dual credit Statistics. Jennifer is a Boise State University alumni who earned her Master’s degree in Mathematics Education. For many years, Jennifer ran the tennis program at Kuna High School and coached the Varsity COED team. Jennifer joined the math department in 2021. In addition to being clinical faculty, Jennifer has served as a faculty in residence as well as the Program Coordinator for the Secondary Math Education Program.
Jennifer’s research interest include the teaching and learning of Calculus and active learning strategies. She is also interested in the integration of personal finance topics into upper division high school math courses. Jennifer is passionate about building relationships with students and encouraging classroom discourse both student to instructor and student to student.
