About
Megan joined the mathematics department in 2023. She previously earned a BA in Math from Concordia University, Irvine. Then she completed a Masters in Statistics and Ph.D. in Applied Math at the University of Colorado Denver. She was Assistant Professor at The College of Idaho before coming to Boise State.
Megan specializes in teaching statistics. She is the course coordinator for the Introductory Statistics courses: MATH 153 and 254.
Megan has conducted research in statistical genetics/genomics including a focus on simulating rare variant genetic data. She enjoys applying statistics to real world problems, most recently in the field of respiratory care.
