Army Tuition Assistance
Army students use ArmyIgnitED to request Tuition Assistance for college courses at Boise State University.
If you need help setting up or accessing your ArmyIgnitED account, contact your station’s Education Center. They can assist with account access, eligibility questions and initial setup.

What you should know:
To ensure your Tuition Assistance is applied correctly, you must upload all approved TA forms each semester through the TA Submissions page. Boise State cannot apply Army TA funding to your student account until these documents are received.
How do I access my tuition assistance?
Create your Education Path in ArmyIgnitED
Select your degree program, then choose Boise State as your school.
We Upload your Degree Plan
Your degree plan lists the courses required to complete your program. Request your Academic Advisement Report (AAR) from your program advisor and submit it to your Military Education Center Office for upload.
Request TA for your Upcoming Classes
Select courses from your approved degree plan and complete the required information to request funding for each class.
What do I need to know?
Army TA funding limits
Army Tuition Assistance provides up to $4,000 per federal fiscal year, which runs from October 1st to September 30th. To ask about the State Educational Assistance Program (SEAP), contact your installation’s Education Office.
TA requests are your responsibility
You must submit your TA request on time. ArmyIgnitED allows you to request funding between 60 and five business days before the class start date. To view current timelines, select the Army tab on our TA webpage.
TA only covers tuition
Federal Tuition Assistance pays for tuition only. Books, class fees and other charges are not covered. Monitor your remaining balance in your Student Center.
