Grocery Shopping Assistants

Fellows are housed in the Lincoln Townhomes on campus and have access to a full kitchen. Boise State will supply a few kitchen staples and cleaning supplies but Fellows will need to “stock up” on groceries when they arrive. Grocery Shopping Assistants will provide an introduction to American groceries, packaging and pricing.

These volunteers should be familiar with stores in the vicinity of campus and be able to explain the pros and cons of each, specifically Albertsons, Winco, Whole Foods and Walgreens. You will be assigned three to four Fellows and will pick them up, take them shopping and return them to campus.

Time commitment is from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, June 19
