Patrick Lowenthal has been selected to receive the Shauna Schullo Best Distance Teaching Practice Award at the Distance Teaching & Learning Conference for his presentation, “If you record it, will they watch it? And will it matter? Exploring student perceptions of online video.”
This presentation highlighted Lowenthal’s research on social presence and online video, and was funded in part by an Investigating Student Learning Grant from the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Boise State. The award will be presented to Lowenthal at the 2015 Distance Teaching & Learning Conference Aug 11–13 in Madison, Wisconsin.
