It’s Bronco Giving Day!

Boise State’s second annual giving day is under way. Bronco Giving Day is a 36-hour online giving campaign that makes it easy for alumni, donors and friends to support their choice of 45 different funds from across the university. Visit broncosgive.boisestate.edu to explore all of the ways to support students and get involved in this special day.

Last year, as part of the first Bronco Giving Day, more than 900 Bronco alumni and fans nationwide raised $350,000 to support students and programs.

Boise State is again asking Broncos and friends from all over the world to support an area of the university that is meaningful to them. Individual gifts on Bronco Giving Day will have a bigger impact, thanks to generous Bronco supporters who fund multiple challenges. These challenges will have double the impact, as some matching gifts will be implemented, adding to the excitement of the day.

Throughout the day on Thursday, Sept. 12, live leaderboards will share the day’s progress, on which donors and alumni can watch in real-time the impact of their giving. The headquarters is in the Alumni and Friends Center Ballroom and all are welcome to stop by.

Boise State President Marlene Tromp will announce the giving day total during the Bronco Giving Day Wrap-up Celebration at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, in the Alumni and Friends Center Ballroom. She will be joined by Buster Bronco and the Blue Thunder Marching Band. The campus community is invited.
