
College of Education Professor Diane Boothe presented the keynote speech at the International Conference on Education and New Developments in Budapest, Hungary on June 28, 2025.
The presentation, “Reimagining Cross-Disciplinary Active Learning Methodologies to Engage EFL Students” covered ways for educators to prepare English-as-a-foreign-language (EFL) students to engage in cross-disciplinary fields and enter the global workforce through optimal learning strategies and innovative best practices. Boothe highlighted examples from a variety of disciplines focusing on teaching strategies that use active, hands-on learning for EFL students of all abilities.
