Register to attend Idaho Community-engaged Resilience for Energy-Water Systems Data Management Workshop

Idaho Community-engaged Resilience for Energy-Water Systems (I-CREWS) members are invited to attend the upcoming Data Management Workshop from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. MDT on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2025, on Zoom.

This workshop is designed to provide practical help and support for I-CREWS members on topics related to data management and the use of the I-CREWS Energy-Water Data Hub. Whether you’re just getting started or already working with data, this is a great opportunity to connect with experts and fellow researchers, ask questions, and learn how to better manage, share, and communicate your research data.

Register via Google Form by Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025.

After registering, participants will receive the Zoom link and passcode in a confirmation message.

The workshop will include:

  • Presentations by experienced researchers and data experts
  • Interactive sessions with opportunities to ask questions
  • An open discussion at the end where you can share feedback and suggestions directly with the Data Hub team

  • 10:25 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.: Accelerating Your I-CREWS Research with the Energy Water Data Hub, with speaker Luke Sheneman
  • 11:25 a.m. – 11:35 a.m.: Break
  • 11:35 – 12:25 p.m.: Building Indigenous Research Infrastructure and Data Sovereignty, with speakers Laura Laumatia and Shawna Campbell-Daniels
  • 12:25 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Lunch
  • 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. :Authenticated Data Sharing Using the I-CREWS Data Hub, with speaker Clinton Bradford
  • 2 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.: Securing Our Research Data in AWS, with speaker Leif Nelson
  • 2:20 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.: Open Discussion and Q and A, with speaker Luke Sheneman
