Burkhart interviewed by local news organizations regarding tariffs

Ross Burkhart, professor of political science in the School of Public Service, was recently interviewed by Boise State Public Radio News and KTVB on the topic of tariffs. 

Boise State Public Radio interviewed Burkhart for a story titled “As wholesale prices surge, are tariffs the Grinch that could steal Christmas?” Burkhart discussed several aspects of the current global tariff situation, including tariffs’ effect on holiday season shopping and Canada-U.S. trade. 

On KTVB Channel 7’s “The 208” news program, Burkhart spoke about the impact of tariffs on holiday shopping and small businesses, as well as the regional economy. The story is titled “The tariffs that stole Christmas.”
