Wait to update macOS to Tahoe on Boise State-owned computers

The Office of Information Technology asks the campus community to delay upgrading Boise State-owned computers to the latest Mac operating system, macOS Tahoe, until testing is completed to ensure compatibility with all standard university software.

Once testing is complete, availability will be announced to the Boise State community. Testing is expected to be complete by the end of December.

The software update is free, and compatible with most Mac desktops and laptops produced since 2019.

More information about new features in macOS Tahoe is available on Apple’s website.
