Boise State will celebrate its 117th commencement at ExtraMile Arena on Saturday, Dec. 20. The university anticipates approximately 1,500 graduates and 10,500 guests will be in attendance during two ceremonies that day. Around 115 staff members and volunteers are needed for support at various times between Dec. 18-20 to ensure this year’s celebrations are a success.
Two ceremonies will be held at ExtraMile Arena:
- 10 a.m. ceremony for students graduating from College of Business and Economics, College of Education and College of Health Sciences
- 3 p.m. ceremony for students graduating from College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Innovation and Design and School of Public Service
Faculty registration
Faculty are encouraged to attend the ceremony and participate in the processional. For the appropriate representation of the faculty, a minimum of 33% of each department should be present at each graduation ceremony.
