Kane presents lecture at California university

Adrian Kane, professor of Spanish in the Department of World Languages, recently delivered an invited lecture via Zoom to students at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. The lecture, “Berta Cáceres and Contemporary Central America” focused on the life, work and assassination of Honduran environmental activist and indigenous rights defender Berta Cáceres in the context of Central America’s ongoing struggle against neocolonial extractivism.
