Three staff members from the Student Involvement and Leadership Center recently presented at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors. Cody Flynn, Fraternity and Sorority Life Coordinator, Nick Poling, Fraternity and Sorority Life Program Director, and Charlie Varland, Associate Dean of Students, presented a total of four educational sessions together and with colleagues from other institutions and organizations. Their sessions covered a wide range of relevant topics, including: implementing bystander intervention training; enhancing support for new chapters on campuses; navigating state laws with students; and research findings on fraternity and sorority members with disabilities. The meeting is the largest gathering of campus-based fraternity and sorority advisors and international fraternity and sorority headquarters staff. It was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Dec. 8-11, 2025.
