Boise State University School of the Arts invites all Boise State students to participate in a creative poster design competition celebrating Treefort Music Fest events happening on campus in 2026.
Students should submit compelling, original artwork that responds to the prompt: “What does Treefort mean to me?”
Prize
- The first place winner will receive a full 5-day Treefort Music Fest Wristband valued at $360.
- The first place winner’s artwork will also be posted on College of Arts and Sciences, School of the Arts and Student Involvement and Leadership Center Instagram pages and shown on poster boards and TV Monitors all across the university during the month of March.
- The top ten submissions will have a special showing in the The Keith and Catherine Stein Luminary located in the Center for Visual Arts Building. (Date and time to come.)
Eligibility
- Open to all students regardless of major.
Submission Requirements
- Artwork must reflect the theme: “What does Treefort mean to me?”
- Final submitted file: .TIF preferred (.JPEG accepted if .TIF is not possible)
- Resolution: 300 DPI.
- Orientation: Vertical.
- Size: 24″ wide x 30″ tall.
- Please note: The top and/or bottom of the poster will be framed with Boise State University and Treefort Music Fest branding. It will not impede your artwork. Your name and major will be included.
- Medium: Any 2D medium (digital media or documentation of physical media within file requirements.)
- Imagery only. No text on submissions, please.
