Networks of meaningful mentoring relationships enhance the experiences, learning and growth of students, faculty and staff. To build this network at Boise State, the office of Community Engagement and Belonging, within the Office of the Provost, is launching the Boise State Mentoring Hub; a centralized online resource designed to expand access to mentoring information, resources and programs for faculty, staff, and both graduate and undergraduate students.
The Mentoring Hub aims to advance Boise State’s strategic goals of improving student success and fostering a thriving community. The hub features dedicated sections for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty and staff. It offers program information, resources and guidance to support mentoring for various situations from student connections with alumni mentors to interdisciplinary mentoring for new faculty.
The Office of Community Engagement and Belonging will continue to add additional resources and information as the programs grow. Ultimately, the goal for the Hub is to provide every member of the Boise State community with access to mentorship opportunities. The Mentoring Hub is linked on the Community Engagement and Belonging website. For questions about mentoring or additions to the Mentoring Hub, email belonging@boisestate.edu.
