Asha Muhingi, a political science senior at Boise State, was recently selected for The Roosevelt Institute’s prestigious Roosevelt in Washington Fellowship. Through this opportunity, Asha will spend six months learning about public policy, advocacy and project management, first through a virtual program and then through an eight week internship in Washington, D.C. in summer 2026.

“I’ll be working with students across the country who are committed to shaping policy and building a more just future,” Muhingi said. “I’m grateful to the Roosevelt network for the opportunity to be part of this intergenerational community of changemakers and excited to get started.”
