Want to gain meaningful feedback from your students about your course while there is still time to make a difference in the semester?
The Mid-semester Assessment Process (MAP) gives instructors an opportunity to learn more about how students are experiencing their course, what is supporting their learning, and where adjustments may be helpful. A Center for Teaching and Learning consultant will facilitate an anonymous student feedback survey and guided discussion in your class, with an asynchronous option being also available. Afterward, you’ll meet privately with the consultant to review the results and identify next steps.
Choose the MAP track that best fits your goals:
- Learning Experience MAP: Explore how your instructional choices, teaching methods, and course materials are supporting student learning. Use student feedback to build on what is working and address challenges. Learn more about the Learning Experience MAP
- Course Experience MAP: Learn more about students’ experiences within the classroom environment, with a focus on areas such as classroom community, sense of belonging, growth mindset, and interactions with peers and the instructor. Learn more about the Course Experience MAP
