Associate Dean of Students Charlie Varland was recently appointed to the role of Regional Membership Coordinator on the NASPA Region V Advisory Board. NASPA Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education is a leading association for the advancement, health and sustainability of the student affairs profession.
As Regional Membership Coordinator, Varland will oversee membership activities, working closely with state and provincial representatives, and engage in membership renewal campaigns. NASPA’s work provides professional development, advocacy and research for more than 15,000 members in all 50 states, 8 U.S. territories and 25 countries. Region V includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington, as well as Canadian provinces Alberta and British Columbia.
