This year’s priorities are intentionally designed to inject new energy into the Next Frontier Program by focusing our work on tangible and measurable work products and becoming more explicit about the contributions expected from various stakeholders. Priorities include:
- Establish a Next Frontier Steering Committee to accelerate our ability to deliver meaningful results
- Create and implement a unified strategy for data visualization
- Leverage the revitalized Data Governance Framework to advance strategic priorities and to strengthen organizational awareness of and follow-through with data governance best practices
- Create and implement a unified strategy for data architecture
- Develop a unified approach to data access and security that is consistent, replicable, and non-manual across resources
Each priority has associated start dates and success criteria. Intentional consideration has been given to build alignment and unity and to strengthen the culture, collaboration, and partnerships needed for the Next Frontier Program to deliver on its explicit charge (establishing a data-empowered culture that enables timely, accurate, accessible, and readily visualizable data and analytics for the Boise State community).
