RAISE for STEM Students
Recreation and Academics in a Summer Experience (RAISE) is a week long STEM academic program. Students spend 3 days living on campus, followed by a 3-day outdoor rafting trip on the Payette River. Together, these programs equip new STEM students with the tools and resources for a successful first semester at Boise State. The full RAISE program is comprised of two parts which are best experienced together: Bridge to Boise State and the Outdoor Experience. RAISE is in conjunction with the July 12-13 New Student Orientation, and then continues from July 13-15. *Please note: All students who are registered and committed to attending the RAISE program will be guaranteed a spot in the July 12-13 BroncoVenture Orientation.
Post-Orientation Outdoor Adventures
Jumpstart your first-year adventure by rafting and backpacking through Idaho’s beautiful backyard. Expand your horizons, connect with other students, and have fun in the outdoors. All students are welcome, no experience necessary. Register now to hop on a trip at the end of your orientation. Sign up for your outdoor adventure by selecting “Summer 2019” and picking the rafting/backpacking trip that corresponds to your orientation date.
If your plans have changed and you’re unable to attend your chosen Orientation program, you can reschedule to another open session. Likewise, if you need to update your reservation details (ie: guest information), follow the instructions below:
