Virtual Bronco Family Orientation

You will be able to access your Virtual Bronco Family Orientation materials one month before your student’s virtual orientation date.  These materials include access to an online family module and remote support from our office and our family Orientation Leaders through the month of December.

If you are a family member or parent of a first-year, transfer, or non-traditional student preparing to attend Boise State, our virtual Bronco Family Orientation is for you.

Sign Up for Virtual Bronco Family Orientation

It’s an exciting time as your student takes the final steps toward becoming a Bronco — and you’re part of the process, too. When your student signs up for their advising and registration days, they can sign you up as a family guest by including your contact information.  You’ll be sent a link to the online family module one month before your student’s virtual orientation dates.

Virtual support throughout our winter programs is free for family members and advocates of incoming students.

*The New Student Programs team continues to monitor and work alongside Boise State University with updates regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). As the situation evolves, we will update this site with any changes.

Staying Connected All Winter

One month before your student’s virtual orientation, you will be sent a link to an online module that will provide information on housing, financial aid, paying fees, and other logistical information aimed at helping you support your student’s success. Once you complete this module, you will have the opportunity to participate in virtual breakout sessions.
