Virtual Bronco Family Orientation

Virtual Bronco Family Orientation begins two weeks before your student’s virtual orientation dates and will give you access to an online family module and virtual support all summer long from our office and our family Orientation Leaders.

If you’re a family member or parent of a first-year, transfer, or non-traditional student preparing to attend Boise State, our virtual Bronco Family Orientation is for you.

Sign Up for Virtual Bronco Family Orientation

It’s an exciting time as your student takes the final steps toward becoming a Bronco — and you’re part of the process, too. When your student signs up for their advising and registration days, they can sign you up as a family guest and include your contact information.  You’ll be sent a link to the online family module two weeks before your student’s virtual orientation dates.

Virtual support throughout the summer is free for family members and supporters of incoming students. If you choose to join your student for a special in-person welcome week program in August, there will be a minor cost for guest attendance.*

*The New Student Programs team continues to monitor and work alongside Boise State University with updates regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). As the situation evolves, we will update this site with any changes.

Staying Connected All Summer

Two weeks before your student’s virtual orientation, you will be sent a link to an online module that will provide information on housing, financial aid, paying fees, and other logistical information aimed at helping you support your student’s success. Once you complete this module, you will have the opportunity to participate in virtual experiences below.
