Angela obtained her BSN from Louisiana State University School of Nursing in 1991. After that, she worked at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans emergency room and then pursued travel nursing to other pediatric emergency rooms, some of them being level one trauma.

After almost 2 years of travel nursing, she pursued her MSN specializing in Pediatrics Primary Care at UT Houston Health Science Center. She has worked in the areas of pediatric sexual abuse and pediatric endocrinology. Currently, she works part time in a pediatric office and enjoys teaching online in the BSN program.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, belly dancing and Zumba.
