Hello, my name is Christy Green and I am an adjunct faculty member for the RN-BS Completion Track at Boise State University. Throughout my nursing career, I have had the opportunity to work in a number of different practice settings and have been fortunate to serve many individuals. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Wyoming with my MS in Nursing after completion of their Family Nurse Practitioner program. My APRN role as a Family Nurse Practitioner has consisted of providing services within the primary care and women’s health settings. In May of 2015, I completed a second Master’s program (MSN) through Gonzaga University and am now credentialed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as well. My passion is providing quality mental health care—particularly in rural settings.  Currently, I am working within an outpatient mental health setting. I enjoy the online learning environment and feel fortunate to work with Boise State University and all of the wonderful students.

On a personal note, I have a great husband and two young boys and we tend to stay very busy with outdoor activities.
