Crissy Hunter, DNP, RN, CNE
Clinical Associate Professor, RN-BS Online Completion Track
Crissy Hunter is a Clinical Associate Professor for the RN-BS Nursing Program. Her nursing experience has included medical-surgical nursing, emergency room nursing, and critical care nursing. She has worked as a pre-licensure nurse educator and as an online post-licensure nurse educator. As an educator, she has taught in the classroom, clinical, and online.
Hunter is also a simulation educator with a previous role as the director of a simulation center. She currently works as a simulation educator in a pre-licensure nursing program part time. Hunter earned her Bachelor of Nursing in Science at University of Phoenix. She earned her Master of Nursing at the University of Wyoming. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at American Sentinel University.
She also holds a CNE (Certified Nurse Educator), CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse), and a CHSE (Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator) credential. Hunter enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and most importantly mentoring students.
