Salena Wilson, MSN, RN
Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Nursing
Salena Wilson joined the School of Nursing in 2018 bringing experience from a background Medical/Surgical Nursing as well as Women’s Health. She enjoys caring for patients who are undergoing dialysis, oncology treatment, and caring for women in labor.
Wilson earned her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education from Western Governors University. She holds a current certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring.
Wilson has enjoyed precepting nursing students, volunteering in the Canyon County Community Clinic as well as the Compassion Caldwell Medical Clinic. She has a special interest in end-of-life care and enjoys researching methamphetamine use during pregnancy.
In her spare time, she enjoys drinking coffee, camping, kayaking with her schnauzers and watching the Seattle Seahawks with her family.
