Cindy Foster holds a BSN from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and a MS from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.  She is a certified women’s health nurse practitioner, a former United States Air Force nurse, and a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She has been a nurse educator for the past 18 years and enjoys teaching health assessment, maternal child nursing, community nursing, and leadership/management. She has been the project manager of a nursing advocacy group in Northern Kentucky that brings health care to vulnerable populations through faculty and student service.

Cindy’s greatest satisfaction is watching relationships develop between students and the underserved, whether it is through vaccination campaigns, foot care clinics, or health education sessions. Cindy and her husband live in Florence, Kentucky where she enjoys gardening, bicycling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
