Hagerty has taught full-time at a university for more than 3 years. Her passion is Geriatrics and she was a Director of Nursing for many years. Hagerty has been active in nursing organizations, providing her expertise as a political advocate in many areas including patient care, rights of patients, and HIPAA. She is excited about the political impact nurses can make.
