Simulation Specialist

Originally from Idaho, Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from Boise State University in 2022. While pursuing the degree, he worked at the Morrison Center and in the Boise State Theater department, where he advanced to the role of Master Electrician, overseeing lighting design, managing production crews, and coordinating with university staff for major performances.

After graduation, Nick joined Washington State University as a Media Technician, later progressing to Media Maintenance Supervisor. In that position, he supervised large-scale AV installations, recommended and implemented equipment upgrades, and supported high-profile campus events. He later worked at Channel 6 News as a Broadcast Technician, where he specialized in complex media system installations and server maintenance.

Now a Simulation Specialist at Boise State University’s School of Nursing, Nick brings together a strong background in technical theater, audiovisual systems, and live event experience to help create immersive, realistic learning environments for nursing students.

A lifelong lover of theater and storytelling, Nick enjoys using creativity and design to enhance realism and engagement in simulations. In his mind simulation is a fantastic combination for exploring new technology, engaging with performance/storytelling, and education.
