I am pleased to join as adjunct faculty teaching at Boise State. I reside in Georgia and have been teaching online and in seated classes for the past 25 years. I am a certified nurse educator and teach nursing education courses all online. My area of expertise is in the area of community-mental health, specifically school nursing.

I started out in nursing with a diploma from Touro Infirmary School of Nursing in New Orleans, Louisiana. I then joined the Air Force but continued with my education and received my BSN and MSN from the University of South Alabama. Once I started teaching, I continued to complete my PhD from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. With my past experience, I can certainly appreciate all of the RN students who are returning to school. I look forward to working with each one of you.
