Sarah Gustafson, MEd, BSN, RN

Sarah Gustafson is a known proponent of professional quality. She is a Bachelor’s prepared
Nurse from Cedarville University in 2010; with bedside experience in medical-surgical, critical
care, and aeromedical patient staging. As an Officer in the United States Air Force, Sarah was
quickly recognized for her dedication to best practice and high quality care. Recruited to be the
Inspection Compliance and Quality Manager over an Air Force hospital, she led the facility
through successful re-accreditation as well as multiple regional inspections resulting in
excellent ratings.

Sarah is also a Master’s prepared educator, graduated from Wright State University in 2020.
Since 2014, Sarah has traveled nationwide with The Ohio State University; providing week-long
immersions into evidence-based practice for healthcare professionals of various types and
levels of specialty. Focused on enhancing the quality and interactivity of online education, she is
double certified in Instructional Design for Digital Learning, with an additional certification from
Quality Matters.

Now living the civilian life, settled in Ohio, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors with her
husband and two children- kayaking, hiking, and biking. She thrives on a challenge and works
hard to improve things, empowering others to do the same.
