Join the College of Health Sciences in celebrating three retiring employees from 3:00-4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24 in the Bishop Barnwell Room in the Student Union Building. Refreshments will be provided.<\/p>\n

Marian Graham, management assistant for the School of Nursing has worked at Boise State for 35 years. She started working for the School of Nursing since 1989 supporting faculty and school administrators. She developed a data collection plan and performs analysis routinely for the school. She develops and implements processes to collect and trend data required for reporting to regulatory and accreditation bodies, and she establishes methods and procedures to assure quality of data collected. Graham is responsible for meeting all data and reporting requirements as mandated by state and other national agencies for professional programs, including the State Board of Nursing and Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, which accredits the Boise State School of Nursing. Graham also manages course scheduling for the school.<\/p>\n

Graham earned her certificate of completion in office operations in the secretarial program in Boise State\u2019s College of Applied Tech in 1985. She worked for the College of Applied Tech for a year before joining the School of Nursing.<\/p>\n

Graham is a certified office employee, having completed advanced levels of the professional standards program from the National Association of Educational Office Professionals. Graham has been a member of Boise State University Association of Office Professionals throughout her Boise State career, serving in multiple leadership positions, including president. She also served as a senator for the Association of Classified Employees.<\/p>\n

Graham\u2019s professionalism has been recognized multiple times. She has earned the Excellence in Service Award from the College of Health Sciences, as well as the Office Professional of the Year award from both the Idaho Association of Educational Office Professionals and the Boise State University Association of Office Professionals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe highlight of my time here at Boise State has been all the wonderful people I\u2019ve been so blessed to work with over the years,\u201d Graham said. \u201cIn retirement, I plan to play, travel and find new hobbies.\u201d<\/p>\n
