How to Use the Faculty/Staff Directory Within myBoiseState

Summary

There are two ways to look up employee directory info:

  1. Accessing the Directory feature from the Services area
  2. Typing in a name in the global search field located at the top of every page in myBoiseState

Access the Directory

All faculty and staff can access the Directory by choosing Directory in the Services area within the Employee View.

(You can also search for “Directory” in the search field.)

This brings up the Directory search page. Enter a name, enjoy the results.

 

Clicking on the email address or the phone number will immediately email or phone the employee (the area code is actually included with the number if you choose to dial).

Search for a Name in the Global Search Field

An alternate method of finding Directory info for an employee is to perform a search on the employee’s name in the global search field located at the top of every page within myBoiseState.

 

Type a name in this field, and you’ll see any corresponding Directory info appear in a widget on the page (along with any Boise State websites featuring that person’s name).
