Links to department chat may be placed on websites, social media accounts, email, or other applications.
One or more staff members designated as a representative can monitor incoming chat requests and respond as needed.
A modal icon can be configured to appear on your website’s home page, or all pages on your website, when chat representatives are available and online.
How to Request Live Chat Representative Access
Your supervisor may submit a request for representative access to Live Chat through the Help Desk. Be sure your department name is included in the request.
Representatives, including student employees, must have an employee (@boisestate.edu) account to access the chat service.
