This workshop guides you through key features and basic video editing workflows using Camtasia Studio along with an introduction to visual storytelling and checklists to make sure you capture everything you need to create engaging videos. Specifically, this workshops demonstrates how to make accessible screen recordings and videos using Camtasia Studio. By the end of this class, you should understand the basic concepts of how to create engaging and accessible videos for your department and projects. This workshop covers:
- what makes good video content;
- basics of visual storytelling;
- an overview of the features and how to use Camtasia Studio for video editing;
- finishing touches: titles, music and best export settings for the web video;
- video accessibility.
This workshop is designed for people who want to learn how to make videos, who are comfortable using a computer, and who have some familiarity taking photos and videos using a smartphone or other camera, and how to download files from these to a computer.
Registration is not required.
