Adjunct Strings3 Web Application

Two College of Health Sciences legacy Microsoft Access databases were replaced through the course of this project.

The solutions provided involved development of a custom front end web application and back end SQL Server database.

This allows multiple users to simultaneously access data, and provides the School of Nursing with a stable, effective way of managing data.

Video Case Analysis for Student Thinking (VCAST)

In 2017, the National Science Foundation awarded a grant to both Boise State and Idaho State Universities for “Video Case Analysis for Student Thinking” (VCAST).

VCAST involves developing online curriculum materials that teacher education programs can use to help future secondary education math teachers understand how their students think about mathematics.

The VCAST project team discovered existing software and systems didn’t meet their requirements for the broad customization and control needed.

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Boise State developed a new online application for this project.

Modify Transfer Calculation for Graded Units from Boise State

Undergraduate Admissions shifted the way transfer credits with failing grades are evaluated. A new process was requested due to the transition from evaluating credits based on Earned Units to credits based on GPA Units.

This new process now pulls in graded credits when applicants have taken Boise State classes.
