New Search Chips in Gmail

G mail Search Chips

Searching in Gmail is now easier and faster with “search chips.”

This new feature allows you to refine your search results without sorting through irrelevant emails or using search operators.

Search chips look like buttons that appear below the search bar in Gmail. Enter one or more keywords in the search bar and search chips will appear to help you filter what you’re looking for.

Examples of a search chip include attachment type, sender, and even calendar invites.

You can read more about this feature by visiting Google’s G Suite blog.

If you have questions about Gmail or any of the G Suite applications, contact the Help Desk at (208) 426-4357 or email helpdesk@boisestate.edu.
