On Wednesday, January 27 the Office of Information Technology is implementing a new process for accessing the Bronco-Guest wireless network at Boise State.
Bronco-Guest Wi-Fi is a complimentary service intended for use by friends and guests of the university. Bronco-Guest is not a secure wireless network – current students, faculty, and staff should always use the eduroam Wi-Fi network to protect university and personal data and to ensure the best wireless performance.
If you have tried to use eduroam Wi-Fi in the past but were not able to successfully connect, please reach out to the Help Desk for assistance.
A New Way to Access Bronco-Guest
As of January 27, the new process to access Bronco-Guest wireless requires you to provide a name, email address, and phone number. The system will then email or text (your choice!) a guest username and password to sign in to the Bronco-Guest network.
Agreeing to the terms and conditions of use for Bronco-Guest is required to access the service, and access is granted for seven days. You may renew your access by repeating the self-registration process.
You can start the process by simply connecting your device to the Bronco-Guest campus wireless network.
Detailed instructions and additional information about connecting to Bronco-Guest are available on our website:
